Similar to wine, teas vary in flavor and other characteristics from one to another; these differences are a result of the varietal, the climate where the tea was grown, and the method of its processing, to name a few. Over the centuries, as the beverage gained popularity, tea drinkers began to demand more consistency in flavor. Purveyors responded by blending several teas to achieve the desired characteristics. Steeping Instructions: Pour 6 oz. heated water (208-212˚F) over 1 teaspoon tea leaves and steep 3-5 minutes. Remove leaves and enjoy. Re-steep as desired.
